It’s been almost 3 years since the director & musician duo of Mani Ratnam and A.R. Rahman worked together. They’ve earlier worked together for movies like Roja (1992), Chor Chor (1993), Bombay (1995), Dil Se (1998) and more recently Guru (2007). Looking at their consistently successful track record, it can be safely said that their combined efforts have produced some of the best soundtracks in the Indian Film Industry. And with Gulzar joining the bandwagon for Raavan, it sure seems to be a joyful ride for music lovers.

Iron Man 2 (2010) – Movie Review

It has been proven time and again that movie sequels don’t really live up to the expectations of the original. Agreed, Terminator and Spider Man series were an exception as their sequels not only did well, but were also superior in story and the content they offered. But even their 3rd installments were not up to the mark and if not downright failures, they surely were a letdown for the fans.


With Iron Man 2, there were high hopes. Not just because Iron Man was a major hit but also because of the fact that names like  Mickey Rourke, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson had been roped in for this sequel and probably that’s why I decided to take out time and watch the first day and first show at 10:15AM today.
