1st April is celebrated as April Fools Day or All Fools Day around the World every year. People around the world play practical jokes and do mischief with their friends, family members, neighbors as well as their enemies. Although, the jokes last whole day, in some countries like the UK and Australia the pranks should only last till noon and if someone tries to trick after 12:00PM, he or she will be tagged “April Fool” instead.

The origin of this day is not very clear but the tradition of practical joking and mischief particularly on this day dates back to the ancient Roman times and seems to be closely related to the arrival of Spring. Read the rest of this entry »
